Customer Requirement
The customer required a fully automatic vertical weighing and packing machine solution for high-efficiency packaging of granular and small hardware products. The application includes snacks (nuts, chips, beans, candies) and industrial small parts such as nails and accessories. The production line must support continuous automatic operation including feeding, weighing, bag forming, filling, sealing, cutting, date printing, and finished product conveying.
Key requirements included a high-speed packaging capacity up to 80 bags per minute, stable and accurate weighing performance within a 10–1000g range, and compatibility with pillow bag/back sealing packaging formats. The machine must support film width from 140–420mm and bag sizes ranging from 60–300mm in length and 60–200mm in width. In addition, the customer required a 10-head multihead weighing system with 1600ml hopper volume to ensure fast and precise dosing.
The machine structure must meet food-grade and industrial durability standards, using 304 stainless steel contact parts, and be suitable for long-term continuous operation with minimal downtime.
Our solution
We provided the KL-420 vertical weighing and packing machine integrated system, designed as a complete automatic packaging production line. The solution includes a 10-head combination weigher (1600ml hopper), a servo-driven film pulling system, a Z-type bucket elevator for automatic feeding, and a finished product conveyor system, forming a fully automated packaging workflow.
The system adopts a PLC intelligent control system with a large touchscreen interface, enabling easy parameter setting, real-time monitoring, and stable operation control. The weighing system delivers a capacity of 10–1000g with high accuracy (X(0.5)), ensuring consistent filling performance for granular products.
The packaging section supports pillow bag / back sealing formats, with film width 140–420mm, and servo motor film correction system for precise film alignment. The machine supports zig-zag cutting, ribbon date printing, and automatic film deviation correction, significantly improving packaging appearance and production stability.
With a 4KW power system (220V single-phase) and compact footprint (1600×1200×2430mm), the KL-420 offers high efficiency, stable performance, and easy integration into existing production lines.
